As I read the book of Numbers, I saw how the Israelites constantly only saw what was happening before them. And they frequently forgot where God took them out of. And many times, we are just like the Israelites because it’s easy to complain in the wilderness. But we must remember that God brought us out of “our Egypt:” The wilderness is not our final destination. It's only a valley into our promised land. So rather than complain about our hardships, let us be grateful we are not where we once were. Let us praise Him for all the battles He’s won rather than complain about all the battles we’ve had to go through.
