Fan INTO The Flame

Have you ever felt so burned out, so tired and exhausted because there’s alot going on around you? As I read 2 Timothy 1:6-7, I was reminded that even when we feel tired and exhausted we can just ask God for strength and energy. In 2 Timothy chapter 1, the apostle Paul is writing to his disciple Timothy as they soon depart from each other, Paul encourages timothy to never stop running after God, to rekindle his fire every time he feels like its running dry. I see that with ourselves too, we get exhausted, we become lazy, we slack on our chores, until someone picks us up and motivates us to become our better selves and to get out of our slump. Thats how we should think of God as, He isn’t just someone we praise too all the time, he helps us as well. The anointing of God didn’t just fall on you for no reason, theres a reason you were born. Out of all the angels and children in heaven, God decided to place you on earth. So that your fire doesn’t burn out, but it Fans into a flame where it touches other people and other people would have an encounter with God.

Prayer
Lord help us to be more like you, rekindle our fire if we feel like its running dry, lord fill us up with your fire and with your anointing. Give us a fresh Fire, lord build us up to be conquerors  and mighty warriors for your kingdom, cover us with your hands. Give us strength and energy to do our daily activities and to fulfill our calling, because Jesus nothing can be done without you. So Lord baptize us in your spirit and fire, let the gates of heaven open up on us and let your presence fall fresh on us. In Jesus name, Amen.
